For fifteen years, Christy has represented clients in civil litigation matters involving personal injury, premises liability, municipal law, real estate, land use, and construction issues. Christy has represented cities and counties on a wide variety of matters involving the public records act, the open public meetings act, code enforcement, nuisance, contracts, procurement, employment, and civil rights laws.
Before joining Kitsap Law Group, Christy worked for seven years with the Kitsap County Prosecutor’s Office where she defended the County and its officers in tort lawsuits, including a variety of complex wrongful death and civil rights matters. Christy also served as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Sumner, where she gained experience in general municipal law.
Christy is admitted to practice in all Washington courts, the U.S. District Court of Western Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Christy has successfully tried and argued cases in municipal court, state court, and federal court.
Christy grew up in Kitsap County and graduated from Bainbridge High School. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and International Studies (with a minor in Hindi) from Loyola University in Chicago in 2005. She earned her law degree from Seattle University.
Christy lives on the Kitsap Peninsula with her husband, three sons, and two mini aussies. Christy is an ultrarunner and aspiring mountaineer, having climbed Helens, Adams, Glacier Peak, Mt. Olympus, and Baker.
